Postgraduate Research: PhD Projects

In general, mathematically able applicants are particularly encouraged to apply.

More information about the postgraduate programme in the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh can be found on School web site.

Postdoctoral Research

We have a new PDRA post to understand how to use satellite and ground-based observations of CO2 and co-emitted tracers (e.g. formaldehyde, CO) to quantify European fossil fuel emissions of CO2 (ffCO2). The successful candidate will also help to understand how upcoming missions (e.g. MicroCarb and Copernicus CO2 service) will influence our ability to verify sub-national ffCO2 estimates. The funded position is part of a wider H2020 consortium called VERIFY

Closing date is 8th July 2019. The anticipated start date is October 2019.
